i've realized there are two builders in the world.... those who build and struggle with blood sweat and tears. their build takes a little of them while a little of the build becomes part of the builder while the other type builds to build just to make a machine....

Japan

There's something about japanese choppers that are ridicoulously appealing to me.. they say traditional modern, fck the popular we do what we like... i hope my builds have those same lines, and similar appeal.. shyt i'm envious

" i dont do it for the wealth man, i do it for myself man"

hard tail woes...

trying to get info on a hard tail conversion for an 08 sporty... you can only imagine the hassle of actually getting legitmit info..

see the problem is that it's not that people hate rubber mount so much that people hate the fact that HD tried to make the nightster a mass produced version of what a sub culture has been doing for yrs, and they gay ass marketing scheme. It's just the idea and princple the nightster represents to many people is an insult. i gaurentee you if i said 08 XL no one would have a problem and be more hopeful. don't really care if ppl hate my bike or not just frustrated that i'm not getting any USEFUL info and not opinions, all i need to know is if any1 knows where i can find a hardtail weld on kit...lol simple question..complicated nonsense

Quick story.... so i park my bike in a designated motorcycle "parking" on my way to class wed morning. The parking spot is a poor excuse for a lawn placed inbetween two of the buildings on campus, the math and the engineering building. Take my class.. come out and see this piece of crap beat up sports bike ( i don't hate sports bike don't get me wrong). The things looks like it's been dropped atleast 80 over. It's a faded maroon/brown color with a cardboard liscense plate claiming he got his tags stolen. well any ways... i see this dude in full textile gear and a nice helmet straddle the bike pull out of his spot and then start to leave the parking lot full of people walking to class and i thought nothing of it. Next thing i know i hear a rev, the bike go up down and wobble until this guy has the bike fall flat on his leg. LMAO it SEEMS like he wanted to do a wheelie, dropped the clutch and decided other wise. I swear on my life this guy didn't know how to ride anysort of 2 wheeled terror. A whole group of construction workers walked over and asked him if he was ok and did that whole get up. They help him pick up his 600 form the 1980's and you could tell he was embarrassed as hell trying to play it off...

Moral of the story... be a jack ass like me and rev ur bike as u roll by (oh if you can't "stunt" or want to show off your bike..practice in private first..)

Japan

Man I love those bikes some of those Japanese guys are doing. The whle swingarm style, they have it down pack! It doesn't seem like they care to much for "purist" attitude. As long as it's not that occ machine cut shyt. I'm pretty envious of those bikes. i'm not going lie.. but then again i'm pretty envious of most bikes.

Finally got through testing this week and was able to go for some decent riding in MD.

Started working on those biltwell bars i got, had to cut off some of the bar for "dimples" i'll post some pics when i'm done.

Meet up with Josh today, dudes a real cool guy. Talked about bike's and shyt in his garage. He's got a nice hardtailed evo sitting on a lift waiting for some wiring to be done.

Gona post some sketches of my "concept bikes" since i don't have money to afford any of it and hopefully i'll have my seat pan mocked up today or tomorrow.

Finally got my biltwell bars i won of of ebay. I got 2 clubman's, 1 ace, and 3 frisco bars. If any1 is interested i'm thinkinga bout selling w.e. i don't use.

next project...

While i'm saving up to add those dam good looking biltwell struts on my bike i figure i can start to dive right in on making a seat pan.... kinda digging just the pan with some leather on top..no real cushion.. i mean it is a swingarm i've already got cushion

Pics of the day
So I got pretty decent job/connection with kundratic kustoms in baltimore. It's not "official" but i got a good vibe. I went up to the shop last tuesday, did a interview with the owner Brian. Dude is a real cool guy, seems very down to earth and has that ol'skool vibe to him. He's got some pretty sick chop's in his garage right now. I'm hoping to be able to help him out and pick up a few tricks of the trade whenever i get to help him out. Also meet a cool guy named Josh, he's a fabricator that helps out around the shop. He's got a mellow, all i need is a bike, a beer and some pavement feel to him. I don't think i could've found myself meeting ppl and have a better situation then this. If I do get the job, Man will doors open, just hope i don't screw up.
